
John and Ann on Mt. Isabel de Torres above Puerto Plata, DR. Sunny when we went up 2600 feet on the cable car — we got wind, mist and driving rain. Ann was given a plastic bag by a sympathetic Dominican lady. She wore it very well.

11-27-2007. In the shop building with Aubrey Golden of the Michigan Karst Conservancy, owners of the Fiborn Quarry property. We walked all the way around the quarry, at times in a blizzard, listening for a plane to crash. Note, 64 years after the baby picture and I’m still holding a rifle and smiling…Life is good.
